Garfield

Garfield is an orange comic character created in 1978 by American cartoonist Jim Davis and has since become one of the most recognizable cats in pop culture. The overweight, lazy tomcat with his love for lasagna and his hatred of Mondays became world-famous through the eponymous comic strip series and evolved into an international phenomenon.

The character Garfield lives together with his owner Jon Arbuckle and the naive dog Odie in a suburb and embodies, with his sarcastic humor and selfish nature, the epitome of the typical house cat.
