Paul Reiser achieved his breakthrough with the sitcom "Mad About You" (1992-1999), in which he not only played the lead role of Paul Buchman but also served as co-creator, writer, and producer. The series about a newlywed couple in New York became a major success and earned him several Emmy and Golden Globe nominations. Prior to that, he had already made a name for himself with supporting roles in films such as "Diner" (1982) and "Aliens" (1986), in which he portrayed the nervous Carter Burke.
