Even back in school, Karsten Hagen Frank received enthusiastic responses to his voice and decided to make more of his talent. He began taking voice and acting lessons at the age of ten, followed by drama studies in Leipzig and Vienna after school. He ran a private institute for voice training and professional development for ten years. Since 1991, he has been working as a professional voice artist across a wide range of genres. His repertoire includes radio features, audio guides, voice-overs and dubbing for TV series, as well as corporate films and commercials. As a football fan, he was particularly thrilled when he was asked to record the scratch track for a Philips commercial with Jürgen Klopp.
