Voice actor and dubbing artist Tim Knauer has been working behind the microphone since his school days. As a teenager, he dubbed a role in "Home Improvement," for example, and also recorded for the audio drama series "TKKG." After graduating from high school, he trained with renowned voice coach Marianne Bernhardt and established himself as a professional voice actor. Major projects and recurring roles soon followed. His credits include films such as "The Hobbit" (Fíli, played by Dean O'Gorman) and "Pitch Perfect" (Benji Applebaum, played by Ben Platt), as well as leading roles in ongoing TV series. Whether as super-genius Walter O'Brien in "Scorpion," superhero Matt Murdock in Marvel's "Daredevil," or as lovable roommate Nick in the sitcom "New Girl"—with his versatile voice and years of experience, he brings every character to life with precision. Many may also recognize Tim Knauer's face from the ZDF show "Hallo Robbie!", where he played zookeeper Tom Jansen for eight years.
