The six-part ARTE documentary “Aus der Traum? – Die Amerikaner im Wahljahr” (Dream over? – Americans in an election year) paints an impressive and comprehensive portrait of the American people before, during and after the 2020 presidential election.
“The fight goes on” is the fitting title of the final episode, for which our voice artists were at the microphone. The sixth part shows the deeply divided country in the weeks after the election, when Americans finally find themselves living in two different realities. While the world celebrates Joe Biden as the winner, Trump supporters continue to believe their president has won. The election may be over, but the uncertainty about where the USA is heading remains undiminished.
We were delighted to welcome Tobias Meister, Susanne Hauf, Isabelle Höpfner, Sven Riemann, Friederike von Frajer, Eberhard Weißbarth, Marco Wittorf and Felix Würgler to our recording studio for the voice recordings of the final episode as well. Many will know Tobias Meister as the German dubbing voice of Brad Pitt.
