Jake Gyllenhaal was born on December 19, 1980, in Los Angeles, California, and works as an actor and film producer. As the son of screenwriter Naomi Foner and director Stephen Gyllenhaal, Jake Gyllenhaal grew up in the film industry and gained his first on-camera experience as a child.
Jake Gyllenhaal achieved his breakthrough in 2001 with the leading role in "Donnie Darko," a disturbing science fiction drama that made him internationally known. This was followed by further notable roles in "The Day After Tomorrow" (2004) and "Brokeback Mountain" (2005), for which he received an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor. Jake Gyllenhaal demonstrated his acting range across different genres - from the dark thriller "Zodiac" (2007) to the drama "Brothers" (2009) and the action blockbuster "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time" (2010).

Actor and voice artist Johannes Raspe is the regular German dubbing voice of no fewer than three actors, and his résumé is equally impressive in other respects.
