Nicole Kidman

Nicole Mary Kidman was born on June 20, 1967, in Honolulu, Hawaii (USA).

At the beginning of her career, Nicole Kidman became a star in Australia through several Australian productions in which she appeared. In 1999, Nicole Kidman starred alongside her then-husband Tom Cruise in 'Eyes Wide Shut', Stanley Kubrick's final film. For a long time, although she received some attention as an actress, she could not escape the shadow of her then-husband. It was only after their divorce in 2001 that Nicole Kidman made the leap into the front ranks of Hollywood actresses.

In 2001, Nicole Kidman starred in 'Moulin Rouge!' and was nominated for an Oscar for this role. In 2002, Nicole Kidman played the role of Virginia Woolf in the film 'The Hours'. For this role, she received the Oscar for Best Actress in 2003.

In 2010, Nicole Kidman played the lead role in the film 'Rabbit Hole'. For this role, she was nominated for an Oscar in 2011. Nicole Kidman also received an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress in 2017 for her role in 'Lion'.
