Jannika Jira has always had a passion for language, voice, and the art of playing with both. As a child, she recorded audio dramas, wrote her own sketches, and improvised in front of the microphone. In her final year of drama school, she had a stunt accident and injured a lumbar vertebra. Instead of taking her final exam in "Fencing and Movement," she found herself in the dubbing studio wearing a titanium corset for back support, recording her first dubbing roles – and that's how she returned to voice work. Since 2009, she has been working as a professional actress and voice artist. Her repertoire encompasses a wide variety of voice genres, each with its own unique appeal for her. She primarily lends her voice to dubbing, commercials, documentaries, and audio dramas, and is the dedicated brand voice for Home24, among others.
