Julia Roebke came to professional voice work through acting. Fascinated by the subtlety and expressiveness of the voice, she ventured into her first voice-over assignment for the KiKA documentary "Und jetzt sind wir hier", which follows a Syrian refugee family. Today, she works full-time behind the microphone, transforming a wide variety of scripts into vivid mental images with great care. With her highly versatile voice, she excels at narrative productions such as audiobooks, audio descriptions, and voice-overs for documentaries, as well as commercial productions including corporate films, TV spots, and more. She is particularly convincing in radio drama and documentary work, where she captivates with infectious enthusiasm, great sensitivity, and sparkling joy in performance.
