Juliane Hempel discovered her passion for language and reading aloud in early childhood. When she recorded her first self-written fantasy shows on a cassette recorder, a passion was born that never let go of her. She began performing in theatre at an early age, became a clown with Clownlabor e.V. (Rote Nasen) Berlin, and completed numerous voice-over training courses. She captivates audiences not only in the recording studio but also live: she regularly provides live subtitles at international film festivals – her highlight was the Berlinale 2018. Since 2018, Juliane Hempel has been working full-time as a voice artist, lending her voice to commercials, documentaries and explainer videos, and breathing life into audiobook and film characters.
