As a young boy, Mike McAlpine loved imitating voices and inventing languages. So it's no surprise that this British native has now been working as a voice artist, actor and entertainer throughout Germany for over 20 years. During these years, Mike has recorded a wide variety of projects in the recording studio. On one occasion, he lent his voice to a plush toy owl for children. Another time, he travelled over 6 hours by train to record just four words in the studio. His trained voice ranges from young to old, from serious to dubious, and from cheerful to overcast. Mike particularly enjoys character roles, where he doesn't shy away from small, innocent mice or poisonous old witches. Just as on stage, Mike can quickly and seamlessly adapt his voice at the microphone to meet your requirements. In recent years, he has also recorded numerous e-learning projects, for example for Volkswagen and Siemens, audio guides, for example for the Goethe House Frankfurt, and commercials, including for numerous trade fairs in Cologne such as Photokina and Gamescom. Some may also recognise his voice from the successful computer game "The Inner World" by FIZBIN, in which he voices the main character Robert.
