Even as a child, Yannik Heckmann was fascinated by audio dramas. His passion for bringing characters to life with his voice ultimately led him to pursue a career as a voice actor. To make this dream a reality, he studied acting at the renowned Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen and Bochum. During his studies, he expanded his skills in a workshop for audio drama and microphone voice acting at WDR in Cologne under the direction of Uta Reitz. Today, Yannik Heckmann works primarily as a German dubbing voice and actor, but he also convinces as a commercial voice with his versatile voice. As a film actor, he was nominated for the German Acting Award in 2023 for his role as Mike in the series "Kranitz - Bei Trennung Geld zurück," and you can see him in productions such as "How To Sell Drugs Online Fast" or soon in the new Stromberg feature film. On stage, he has most recently performed at the Staatstheater Braunschweig and the Deutsches Theater Göttingen.
