German television audiences know Volker Brandt primarily from TV series such as "Tatort", "Das Traumschiff" and "Die Schwarzwaldklinik". Born in Leipzig, he trained as an actor at the Otto-Falckenberg-Schule in Munich. Subsequently, he worked for many years as an actor, including alongside Gustaf Gründgens. Volker Brandt has also achieved fame as the regular German dubbing voice of US actor Michael Douglas in the German versions of his films. Since 1979 ("The Streets of San Francisco"), Volker Brandt has been voicing the Oscar, Golden Globe and Emmy award winner. You can hear Volker Brandt's full, warm and distinctive voice in countless films such as "Wall Street", "A Perfect Murder" and "Ant-Man". His voice is also very present in audio drama productions such as "Die drei ???" and "Sherlock Holmes".
